Voting Philosophy
The Democracy Tech Proxy pursues to offer a complete "Liquid Democracy" process where all proxy voters will rate each of the 30 Block Producers to appear on the proxy's final voting list. Ratings will be done initially under this criteria: ***Democracy Dapp Development (Government Transparency, Elections, Censored-Resistant Media, Surveillance-Resistance, Identity & Data Privacy), ***Independent (Self-Funded), ***GeoPolitical Diversity, ***Transparency (Disclosure of Ownership & Use of Rewards), ***Infrastructure Control (Physical Access and Management), ***Software Testing (Testnets, Debugging, Improvements), ***Community Engagement, ***Education & Promotion of EOS Use & Programming, ***Compliance (BP Requirements & Constitution Agreement)
Background
I started programming FORTRAN IV in 1970 while at Tulane University. In 1987 I established a software company and programmed business software for 13 years. Our company edenia.com now offers full Internet and development services to customers around the world. I discovered Bitcoin in 2013 fully embracing the technology incorporating it as payment method for our company. I encountered Bitshares in 2015 and Steem in early 2016 and have been using them ever since. We currently run nodes for EOS, BTC, DASH, Stellar and ZenCash for our customers and ourselves from our Data Center. I have a strong admiration for Dan Larimer as a software engineer and for his latest creation: EOS. I was born and live in Costa Rica and keep active in our business and local community enthusiastically promoting Blockchain technology for a better world.
